oof, sounds rough on ESU's end then. Yeah I can imagine even if its just a simple slip up or misstep. Being at the helm and losing such a big market share to competitors without a good answer can be... problematic.

Do they have samples at the show?

I saw a screen-grab on FB taken from their recent livestream that showed the SP version with L-cab and full nose package....

Super. More 1960s goodness given this morning's GP30 announcement from ScaleTrains.

I'm still astounded Atlas didn't have UP in the first run. I pre-ordered several in undec to paint yellow/gray, but was cautioned that Atlas has drastically limited undec availability in recent runs. My dealer was not particularly optimistic about quantities.

Cool. I ordered one SP along with the undecs. Nice to know that Atlas is stepping up to the plate with road-specific details.

Not of the SP ones. Those inadvertently got left out of the stuff they packed. They did have the DRGW ones though which I am seriously thinking about picking up too.

Yes the SP were not there as I thought I did ask them about it and they stated, they would have full light package and the L shaped window.

I spent time BSing with the Atlas team at their table, but never thought to take a picture of them... that said, I've been blacklisted from buying an EL one because Paul knows what I'm going to do to it. lol.

And I can't wait for Jack Hoff's order to arrive.

I kinda wish I coulda showed up. SD45 pix here:  https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=58051.0

Hoping Atlas gets the NW SD45s right on the production versions.  :scared:

I received a response from Atlas ... no bells on the N&W SD45s.   :o  :x :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Especially annoying since they have a good track record on 2nd Generations EMDs (both the N&W SD35s and the N&W GP38s (GP38AC) have the correct bells). Maybe I should hold out for Scale Trains. I do have some spare bells, but on a $280 loco I shouldn't have to.

Alas,

Mark
