Kato P42s with factory ESU LokSound?

Do any of you have a Kato P42 with factory-equipped ESU LokSound? If you do, do you happen to know if the decoder inside allows AUX outputs so you can wire your own flashing ditchlights or marker lights, or does it just have a more basic decoder?

If you mean the Kobo N scale ones I did for Kato, the answer is yes.  There is no 'factory' ESU LokSound from Kato in the sense of them being installed in Japan by Kato's factory.

They have ESU 58823 V5 micros installed.  You have Aux1 (green) and Aux2 (purple) that are simply clipped back, so you could splice those with wired 0402 SMLED's and and something around an appropriate resistor (in my case, I build a resistor bank with surface mount 4.7k ohm resistors but there are different ways of doing this).  glue and heatshrink onto the ends of the clipped light pipes, function map, test.

Hope this helps!
