Scale Trains Dash 9 Sound Volumes

Question, is it just me or does the sound from the first run seem louder than the second run?

Background: I have 3 of their Dash 9s in N scale (ATSF 699 - 1st run, BNSF 4560 - 2nd run, and NS 8888 - 2nd run). The ATSF unit sounds louder than the other 2. Looking in the LokSound programmer, all of the sound values are the same. Did they change the speakers or something?

i also have noticed that the first run is louder than their latest run.
