Yeah but that plug is so you can also plug it into your computer. What kind of software will I need to upload to an airbrush? I just don't understand how USB is a feature when it just makes it limiting.

It's only using the USB supply lines and not the data lines.  So ANY female USB port will charge it.

Also why is everything USB? What am I gonna plug that into?   :?

So they don't need separate adapters for different countries.
And because USB components are SO cheap and ubiquitous.

All I'm saying is... I go down into the basement. I want to paint. There is no USB plug in sight.

The USB adapter plugs into your 110 outlet and the device plugs into that adapter.
My iPhone, iPad, iPods, Garmin Golf Watch and a couple of rechargeable Bluetooth speakers all charge that way.

How do you charge your cell phone?

That little cube/brick can charge anything USB.  You just need the right cable.

At my Kitchen counter. I only have one charger for it. I don't have 10 or 15 of them to plug in all sorts of items.

Well, I happen to actually own one of these cordless things and like it. Use it on the layout to blend scenery with backdrops, and to weather track, structures, etc., without having to lug a hose across finished scenes. It's also handy for little projects like phone booths and lumber loads that don't quite warrant firing up the big guns. It doesn't replace the compressor/airbrush combo, but it does have its uses. Like any tool, match it to the job. And it was pretty cheap, came with its own charging cable and charging is simplicity itself.
