Ooooh these could work for the American Freedom Train, and Preambles...and after AFT service were sold to the Canadians for their Discovery Train

Can anyone do a summary on the prototypes- length, height, manufacturer, dates, other railroads that copied the design (or close) etc.  I do wish that manufacturers who are 'assessing interest', 'requesting reservations', 'opening pre-orders' would include such basics, since they've already done that research, and it makes the yes/no decision much easier.
