They ordered more from me first thing this AM; The extra stock they had was gone rather quickly! The restock order is all packed up, so they will have some more on hand tomorrow.

Restocked. They added to the order from yesterday again this morning.

Working hard on packaging inventory for a wider launch.

Oh, so they’re doing what I did, but at scale. I placed a pre-order, but when it arrived and it was time to pay I decided to double it. Or a little more than double.

My order just shipped out from Credit Valley yesterday.  So excited to get my hands on these!

@GaryHinshaw are you finding you're using a particular version of the coupler over another? Most of my inventory have MT truck mounted couplers but I am wanting to convert to body mount. For locomotives, are you using the retro box for 1015 replacement?

Of the ~200 conversions I've done to date I would estimate that I've used 50% short shank, 30% medium shank, and 20% long shank (in very round numbers).  About 50-60% have used the scale box while the rest have used the retro-fit shim.   I used short shanks in the truck-mount conversions I have done so far.  I printed my own box lid for those (with an integrated spring splitter) but Andrew has his own design that he is shipping (or soon will ship?).  But honestly, truck mounted gear does not do very well in downgrade situations on my layout, so they will be converted to body mounts as time permits.  (Nonetheless, truck-mount N-Ps perform better than truck-mount MTLs.)

I have not actually converted any locos yet, but I have seen Andrew's design for a Kato retro-fit that looks dead simple, so I'll likely hold out for that.  (I have a design I could print myself, but it needs tweaking and I have a ton of other conversions to do still.)

I am hoping to spend some of the upcoming long weekend here in BC to write up and post some of the details of my conversions in case others (or my future self) find them useful.

Gary, would you mind if I added an abbreviated version of that to the FAQ on the website?

Please use whatever photos and text you like, Ed.  Hopefully I'll get some more useful photos posted in the coming days.

They've arrived! (Ironically just as I was finishing up a G-scale coupler install).

I think I'll need some time for my senses to adjust. These things are small!

Nice to see folks getting these in their hands.  8)

I'm hoping that by New Year's, these will be available stateside.

Here's my thoughts, based solely on trying them out on my barely functional layout with the samples from the NSE convention -
. I love the way they look, but I honestly need more testing to see how they work for me. I will definitely be ordering some once they become available stateside to try out more applications and different shank sizes.

On the Model Railroader web site they had an article about different type of N-Scale couples.  I posted a comment with he N-Possible web site and linked to the two major discussion here.  Hopefully they post it.
