I wouldn't kick about an SD45, not in the least. I have something like 8 Katos in some stage of modification on or near the layout. But they have "old tooling" disease like the Atlas GP30s - great runners, but model proportions are not quite right. Hood width errors are a big problem with SD45s; they lose the prototype's iconic "big shoulders ready to do serious work" look.

I'm guessing it'll be either Tunnel Motors or AC4400CWs because either would be extremely painful to this N Southern Pacific modeller.

There was a guy on Groups.IO unloading his Intermountain SD40-2  collection... so I'm gonna guess (hope for) SD40-2....

Scale Trains doesn't come across as steam people but maybe one day they'll prove mem wrong hopefully.  I did ask about the UP coal burning turbine. They did reply within a day stating the plans could not be found. Hummmm, I've seen them in O and HO brass.   How about the Jawn Henry in N.

I'm planning to be on the Chattanooga train ride at the NSC Convention in Nashville where they say they'll make the announcement and may have some of whatever available for sale.
Guess I'd better stock my wallet in case they have some things I want.
