Fair warning... I’m stealing your swing down mounting panel method.

I’m too old & fat to be crawling under layouts for wiring.

Wow Cody, that’s a LOT of staging. Nice! Now you just need more trains :D
So how do the drop down panels work? Is it for ease of access?
Otto K.

I actually do need more foreign road boxcars!

So yes ease of access was the main purpose. Its never fun trying to work on wiring under the layout and this just makes it too easy.

I still have to go back and move the sidings and switch machines to the swing down panels, but thatll be a future project

I have a bunch to get rid of, if you're still looking.

I am.

And wow I can't believe I didn't document the layout during 2021.

We moved in December of 2021 after I finished the staging yard add on and just got the layout back up and running. Currently the modules are disassembled in the basement of my new home, which also needs to be finished before the layout is up. I'm hoping to work on finishing the basement this fall/winter and then putting the layout back together.

Are you coming to N scale weekend?  I'll be sharing a table with another vendor, and am planning to bring some surplus rolling stock.
If you have some specific requests, I may be able to help fill some voids.

Unfortunately I'll be at my Sister in laws wedding that weekend.

Mainly looking for early 50s rolling stock.

The n scale weekend is normally a good show!

I've got some more modern models as well as a bunch of vintage stuff that fits the era that might find their way to the table, some unbuilt kits, and some "work projects"... shells without frames, frames without shells, etc.  Plus loads of decals and dry transfers that might fit your era.

As I start boxing stuff up, I'll keep you posted with photos.  If you dig around in the Trading Post, you can probably find the decal list.

Be careful at that wedding... that sh!t can be contagious!  (not Covid, MARRIAGE!!)
