As some of you can attest, I should be so lucky.

Truth.  OG Ed is way cooler then Ed 2.0.

Thanks guys!

I know, I can't believe it either.

But my knee now does a good job of reminding me of the reality of the situation.

Wait until your back reminds you too!   :o  But that's probably Ed 5.0 or 6.0.  :)

Ed, within days of turning 40 I got my first bi-focals.  30 years later and I have a titanium hip and a pacemaker.  Better living through medical appliances!

Happy birthday, youngster!
Best regards,

Roger

I'm hoping my first upgrade is gonna be a bionic... nevermind. But yeah, those all sound really helpful too, lol!

Hehe, sadly the Z scale H39 print wasn't up to snuff. Thinking I either need to bump up the layer by layer cure time or start thickening some of the details, because a lot of the end detail ended up as noodles in the end.

I had little to no time for modeling this weekend, but I did manage to paint a resin transformer casting and add it to the amazing Woodland Scenics' Built-Up N scale Substation. This substation will be serving the Kimberly Clark Plant in New Milford, on my layout. I still need to weather it a bit more, especially the cement pad, and add cables for the 2nd transformer, plus power in and out to the plant, chain link fencing and gravel around the concrete pad. This configuration comes very close to the prototype arrangement at the actual plant.  There is still lots of scenery, weathering and detail work yet to be done on this scene.

Really like your Woodland Scenics substation upgrade and I am wondering whose resin transformer casting was used?

Once you've weathered the model, added the power in and out of the Kimberly Clark Plant plant and the additional cables for the second transformer, would greatly appreciate your posting some additional closeup photos of the completed installation.
