No, Mark Dance is not my cousin.  But he has a great layout piece in the new Model Railroad Planning 2022.

My shameless boast is that there is a large feature in this MRP on my cousin John's C&O/NYC prototype HO scale layout in there.  And family or not, this is one excellent layout.  I have visited it in person, and the article really does an excellent job of explaining his logical planning, prototyping, design, and building processes, in addition to showing how beautiful a layout it is.
