Amtrak's Empire Builder

Anybody know what's going on with this train?  The train status map hasn't shown it, except for one eastbound this week, for over a week.  I know Stevens Pass had problems, but they should at least be able to run Chicago to Portland, if they can't go to Seattle.  Any trainset stranded in Seattle can be routed back through Portland, so they should have trains available.

It was cancelled for a week due to weather and “staffing issues.” It is reportedly resuming operations today.

Also, there are announced schedule reductions across the board for most of the rest of January.

Interesting.  Must be mostly the staffing problems.  As far as I know, the Spokane-Portland segment hasn't had any significant weather issues.

Thank you!
