Blomberg Truck Questions

As my FP10 project progresses, I'm starting to look at the chassis.

One of the details that popped up was that the donor IM F7 uses Blomberg B trucks with round roller bearing caps. It looks like the engine I am modeling uses the older box style roller bearing caps used on the FT, F2 and some F3s.

It appears that IM and MTL have made this style of side frame for their FTs.
1. Does the IM side frame directly replace the one on the F7? As I recall these were all based on the Atlas 4 wheel truck.
2. Because IM has been out of a lot of parts lately, would the MTL FT side frame fit on the Atlas/Kato/IM 4 wheel truck? Has anyone tried this?
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
