Alright! Got the layout all loaded up and ready to take to Trainfest tomorrow. Can't wait!! Its been a while. Got my hotel all reserved. Really looking forward to all Milwaukee's good food too! See ya there! Woooot!!!

Maybe I'm not looking at the right thing, but when you posted this, I looked up trainfest in Milwaukee, and found

and it says the 2021 show is CANCELLED due to Covid.  Am I looking at the wrong show?

Humor is such a personal thing.  Sarcasm also requires a common knowledge.  Referencing a train show in 31st largest city in the US, might be a bit too much.

Well this will be the second year, it the show "Will NOT go on".

A local member of the NMRA, had been organizing a "Optoberfest" thing (getting layouts to be open for people interested in Operating) the last couple of years, always in October.  But this year is having it Trainfest weekend.
I declined to the offer (I need a little more operations under my belt before, I go big time). 
But, I did post to our club members that the FCN will be having an "Open House" Saturday afternoon..  Will see how that transpires.

Trainfests' governing body needs an overhaul and maybe a new venue... (Just a local boy's option... :P)
Sad, though... I believe that 2021 would have been it's 50th year...  :(
