I have some Lindstorm cutters that I was given by a previous employer. They were “too dull” for their process but have served me well for the past decade. Highly recommended, probably my most reliable tool.

These yellow-handle cutters are the best cutters out there.  I have several of those in my toolbox.
As recent as few years ago, they offered (on their website) resharpening service.  You send them ones with dull or gouged cutting surfaces and they (for a reasonable cost) re-grind the jaws to like-new condition.  I even sent them a pair with a small piece of the tip missing and they ground them into a cutter with slightly smaller jaws. I was very impressed as I thought that pair was a total loss.

I just visited their website now (as I had no needed anything  since the last resharpening)  and I can't find that service offer.  But I recommend contacting them at https://www.lindstromtools.com/us_en/warranty to check if they still resharpen their tools.

These links remind me of extraordinary N-centric brick and mortar hobby shops that, sadly, are no longer with us....
These shops were staffed by people who weren’t afraid to seek out N -eat sources for interesting N Scale products that were only available direct.
Not only did they have the good stuff that was available from the wholesale distributors (most of whom are sadly also no longer with us) but would have surprise goodies that even I never heard of!  (Being someone who devoted a lot of time to N Scale even before my second career full-time in the Model Railroad Industry)
Too many of the few remaining “hobby shops” might, if pushed, “order it from Walters”.
If somebody wants to reminisce about the good old days, please don’t let this post hijack this thread...start a new one!
I am visiting each of these sites and bookmarking them for future reference.   Let’s see more alternatives .....!!!

Just made my first HD Custom purchase. Looking forward to receiving it! Rob

You won't be disappointed. Which one did you get? I think my personal favorite is the tavern.
