Wow, that looks awesome!  I would like to hear more about how you melded the GS-4 siderods with the Mikado siderods.

You realize now that BLI will announce an I10 now that you have got this running nicely  :D :D

I am actually really hoping that BLI does announce an I-1 soon in N-scale.  It is a lot of work to make one out of a Kato Mikado!  My contact at BLI indicated they would release a PRR I1 sometime probably in 2023 or 2024.

The kitbashed version based on Kato mechanicals will probably run better than BLI, and have better looking running gear

I'm happy to hear of a possible new steam loco, even Pennsy😎. But why bash a yet to be announced model. The BLI Mikes run excellent, pull well, and look better than the dated Kato Mikes, side by side, imho. The only thing they don't have is see through drivers, but in a layout setting, that gets lost in a hurry. YMMV.

Notice that I used the word "probably".  That's not bashing by my standards.  As for why the negative waves?  Well, I have seen so many newly designed models not made or run as good as older models that I pretty much come to expect that.  I guess I'm jaded.  Plus, I'm a Kato fanboy (based on their long term track record).  I'll take good precision mechanical design using quality materials over all the fancy separate added-on details any day.
