Unfortunately, we've received a few phone calls from hobby shops indicating their N scale sales were very slow. If you have a chance, please stop in and say hello to your local hobby shop. Let's keep N scale going strong.
The September/October issue shipped last Friday and will be arriving soon. I hope you will share your thoughts with us on the latest issue. Thank you for your support.

I used to enjoy reading Letters to the Editor in your magazine, but those seem to be missing for quite some time. Was this done as a cost saving measure, or because letters are not being sent in?

Thank you for your question. Letters to the Editor are published off and on, or as we receive them. We've been receiving them and it has nothing to do with cost. We have just added a few more pages in article content.
I'll be sure and get them back in soon.  We are always open to questions, ideas, changes or comments. I truly appreciate your feedback. We couldn't do this without all of you.

It might help if, on your website, you had a listing of those hobby shops that sell the magazine.

From my experience hobby shops that struggle in selling N Scale choose not to have an interest in selling N Scale. They don’t stock it, they don’t promote it and get put out when you ask about it.

Thank you for your response. I look forward to receiving more letters.
N-Scale Magazine lists some of the hobby shops in the magazine, for those that choose to list their hobby shop. Please contact us if you are looking for N-Scale Magazine at your local hobby shop. If they do not carry N-Scale Magazine, please let us know and we can reach out to them to see if they are interested in carrying it. Let's keep N scale going strong and let our hobby shops know we want to see more in the way of N scale products. Thank you for your support.

I hope you will support us and subscribe to N-Scale Magazine. The Nov/Dec issue is currently underway and I can't wait for you to see it. It is one that you don't want to miss and once it's sold out, it will be gone. The last 15 years, the Nov/Dec issue has sold out, and we just keep increasing the print quantity.
If been involved with N-Scale Magazine for over 30 years and in the publishing business for over 35 years, and I am completely in awe of the latest article we received from a modeler who randomly sent in an article. He is 72 years young and told me that he worked on a section of track for hours and hours just to get it the way he wanted. His attention to detail is impeccable. His photography is even more amazing. His layout photos sat on my screen for hours, just trying to pick the best one for the cover to share with all of you.
Each of us has our own idea, inspiration, creativity and skills.  That is what makes this hobby so much fun. Your layout is your decision and your design, or a compilation of a group effort. I am so blessed to be involved with N-Scale Magazine for so many years and share these articles with all of you. We are a very small operation compared to other large publishing companies and we work very hard to hopefully give you the best N scale magazine available. I truly appreciate your support. Thank you.
