Steven:  Any railroad, in any scale or gauge, is only as good as its roadbed.  Whether it's 1:1 built with heavy equipment, or 1:450 on a piece of wood, they all start with the basics.

BTW, I've heard that there is a shortage of portable porta-potties in the 1:1 world.  We sure live in some "interesting" times.
