Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor!

Is the version 2 TBOX making it to the queue any time soon @MTLJoe ?

UP specific detail!
Does that mean it includes a demoralized crew load?

Great news about the roof swap.  I'm still a bit on the fence about these though since the Greenbriar prototype has straight ribs rather than the NSC-signature flared ribs (which are perfect for the TBOX).  I suspect I'll be in for a 3-pack anyway.

It would be awesome if it were possible to tool up straight ribs as well though. :ashat:

Put enough bbq sauce on the ribs and no one will notice.

A new era for MT specifically, and perhaps N scale freight cars in general.  For so long, mfgs put so much attention into underside details, while roofs were pretty generic.  If the tooling is simple enough, it's going to please a lot of modelers.

While you're at it () if you could add 3 horizontal ribs, you could also cover the massive Greenbriar TBOX fleet which were all delivered with the new logo.  Those would sell at least as well as the original TBOX sets.

This.

I have some of the CN/DWC coming in the mail and looking forward to more of these great cars.

What year did those hit the rails?

The cross-ribbed Greenbriar TBOX's are very new: c.2017, constituting ~1700 cars.  There was an earlier Greenbriar TBOX order, c.2012, of ~1000 cars with purely vertical ribs.  This latter set is very similar to the UP Greenbriar prototypes.  FWIW, the UP cars were built in 2003 - an order of about 550 cars - and it appears that many have since been sold off to AOK, COER, and other short lines.

Probably because they can’t haul containers in them.

@MTLJoe, I hope you have plans to offer the CP cars from 2003, #s 218000-218374.  The TBOX model is perfect for this car, and the candy apple red scheme with the beaver logo is very fetching.
