Decoder for Atlas GP35

I recently purchased an Atlas GP35 that I think is from about 1992.  What decoder is possible to use in this loco?  Also, which coupler conversion kit can be used?  Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi Jerold
If it is the Atlas Kato one (like in the photo) and you don’t want to do major frame milling, then you can use the TCS CN-GP decoder as this and the similar CN decoder are both in two pieces to fit this type of frame.  Either of these will fit.
Here is a link to TCS site for reference.  https://tcsdcc.com/decoders/n-scale

And here is the install guide. https://tcsdcc.com/sites/default/files/2018-09/Classic%20N%20Installation%20Guide.pdf

These locos came with full pilots and Rapido couplers which are clipped in IiRC and therefore a MT1015 will fit.
