There's a long tradition of engineering in-jokes buried in catalogs and product datasheets.
Anyone remember the Signetics write-only-memory?

Yes. Intermittent operation was solved by striking with a WOMbat.

How about the rearaxial softspeaker?

I read that last night. I love the official GE-printed data sheets.

BTW, the website these are sold on has lots of excellent looking oversize flat car loads.

We should point out to some major manufacturers that GE also printed data sheets (and schematics, and detail drawings, etc) on several railroad locomotives that, unlike the Turboencabulator, are not available in N scale....

I did not realize the history of the Turboencabulator, quite interesting.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turboencabulator

And here I was thinking it was an actual thing and what it was for.

I just typed that out loud didn't I???

It's certainly fun and after paint and decals it's going to be a hoot... but... it sure looks a little lost on this flatcar. I'm thinking of asking them to print one about 25% larger.

Or just use a standard flat car.
Speaking of flat cars, I was waiting at a RR crossing last night when a 130+ car Panam mixed freight was passing through at a snail's pace.  At some point there was about a dozen of empty flat cars. Standard, depressed, 2-, 4-, and even 6-truck flats.  I have never see so many empty  flat cars at one time.

And here is a sign for your flat car load:

Oh man, would love to see Chrysler Corporation replaced in for GE, per the 1980s version.

Alas, it looks like a shapeways print ...

Nope.  It's manufactured in-house on one of our Formlabs 3D laser printers.

My package has arrived. But I've been too busy slinging wood to get to working on them. I'm very excited to have it in my "todo" pile.

That's what I have @chicken45  for!

@Ed Kapuscinski I just saw this.
I only have two words regarding the FD2 kit.

Never again.
But I'd consider it for $1000.

No, I said "Ed's Law."

So we've established you're a whore. Now we're just arguing over price?

I don't think they read the specs....https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turboencabulator#/media/File:GE_Turboencabulator_pg_2.jpg

According to GE, the thing is only 1200 watts and weighs in at 134 lbs.  The one on the flatcar must be a 14,400 Volt, 200KW version.

Will it reverse the polarity of the neutron flow?
