Artitec New Models for 2021 Announced
« on: January 29, 2021, 01:28:45 PM »

Markus Schiavo sent this link for the Artitec 2021 new models catalog to the N Scale Vehicle Association's Group.io.    https://artitec.nl/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Artitec_Neuheiten_Folder_2021_A4_20210127.pdf

The N scale models are found on the last page of the catalog, and this year only one catalog is being issued for both civilian and military models.  They have also added some furniture and other accessories that look useful.

However, for me the most interesting model is this 7-ton forklift.

The HO scale version of the forklift indicates it is a Hyster, which is totally appropriate for a North American themed layout.

Another model that was of interest to me was the Latil H14 TL10.  This one appears to be equipped to use as a log skidder.

And they are also offering a Latil locotracteur (loco tractor) which looks like an early version of a trackmobile.

And here is another view of the locotracteur.

Artitec is not offering as many new models for 2021 as they did for 2020.  I think that may be attributed to the fact that the first of the new models announced for 2020 are just now arriving in hobby shops.

I like the HO boat, "ORCA" from the movie JAWS.

@cfritschle
I could have sworn that I saw a version of the Volvo front end loader that did not have an enclosed cab on it but I can't find where or if they were ever released or not and I need one of them kind of badly.

Phew! I get nervous when they announce new stuff (their models are usually amazing), luckily nothing I want/need.

Thanks Carter!

Bryan,

The only N scale Artitec models from their January 2020 announcement that have been released so far are:  the Ford 5000 farm tractor, a tractor pulled manure slurry tank, the Ford Model T Touring car, a mobile loading ramp, and the military version of the motorcycle, which I think is a Harley.  The Volvo loader announced last year has not been released yet, and it appears to be only available with a cab.

The Wiking Hanomag B11 without a cab (shown below) is scheduled for release in February 2021.  It will likely take Walthers a few more months after that to get their supply in stock.   :(

I wish Artitec would offer everything as kits, and get on the stocking issue.  That being said, I am ordering a slew from them when I can afford to ship it to 'Merica.  That Volvo loader is calling to me for an industry I have in mind; the Ford and Renault farm tractors are calling for a farm scene; and, that duece and a half fire truck and, now, that skidder are calling for a lumber mill scene.  There's a bunch more in HO I would grab if in N.

I would love to see more from Artitec.  I wish there was more Marks Metallclassics available state-side too.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

. . . the Ford and Renault farm tractors are calling for a farm scene . . .

The Ford 5000 works well for an American farm scene set in 1965 or later, but I cannot find any information that indicates the Renault 56 was ever imported into North America.  However, the Fiat 750 that Artitec should be releasing soon was imported into North America by White in the early 1970s, and was sold as the Cockshutt 1465, the Oliver 1465 and the White 1470.  The tractors White marketed in North America differed from the Fiat 750 in paint color, decals and styling of the fenders.   :)

And, I have pre-ordered some Artitec Ford 5000 tractors from Reynauld's Euro Imports.  https://www.reynaulds.com/catalog/dept_1880.aspx

The prices at Reynauld's appear to be comparable to the prices at the German hobby shop I have ordered from, and the shipping is less expensive.

MB Klein (ModelTrainStuff) now has the models from the January 2020 and January 2021 Artitec New Model Announcements listed on their website.  https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/search?search_query_adv#/filter:custom_scale:N/sort:sortable_date_created:desc/filter:brand:Artitec

While none of these models are currently in stock at MB Klein, you can sign up to be notified when they do arrive.  This appears to be a non-committal pre-order system.

Edit:  I have already signed up to be notified for six of the models.   :D

Is there a way to sign up to be notified when MBK's website finally starts working correctly?

It is working for me with Firefox.  However, I right click on an item to open it in a new tab, and that is where I can enter my email address to be notified when the model becomes available.

Wow, MBK sold out of their shipment of the Artitec Ford 5000 tractors in less than 36 hours.  They do still have some of the Model T Fords in stock.  https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/artitec-n-316-083-ford-model-t-touring/

MB Klein has a small restock of the Ford 5000 farm tractors.  https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/artitec-n-316-081-ford-5000-tractor/

Also, their initial stock of the Fiat 750 farm tractor is now available.  https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/artitec-n-316-085-fiat-750-tractor/

The Fiat 750 was marketed in North America from 1973 through 1975 as the White 1470, the Oliver 1465 and the Cockshutt 1465.

Edit:  Corrected the link to the Ford 5000 tractor.

Nothing for me. Still waiting for them to release the D7 in as many variations as they do in HO.
