One advantage of modeling the Pacifi Electric is the fact that Microscale has a nice decal set for them. Modeling the more obscure lines is not easy to get decals.

I may get some Hollywood cars just beause I like the style.

This one is for old times sake....
Around 1980 I have built a NetTrak (the Dutch version of NTrak) make believe 6 ft PE mudule. The Western Railcraft PE boxcab was motorized using a Fleischmann DB V100 adapted chassis. Using the elsewhere mentioned Minitrix FM chassis (cut into 2 pieces and using only one driven truck) I motorized the 4 wood/brass Western Railcraft PE kits of that time, even with a small flywheel...... Using life wire I was able to run two trains in the same block independently (DCC still many years to come). I never got the models nor the module finished unfortunately. Took some liberties.... no poles but pantographs... incorrent sideframes...... and crude by todays standards, but that was 1980!  Was fun running these models those days.

I still have the module and spare phoshoror bronze wire.... but unused for may years already I am afraid..just took everything out to make the pictures.....

Wow !! Thats stunning work !! Not many people were able to build these kits. Great work !
