Alco S-4, nice, although I get to wait until a future release for one of the NH schemes.  The EL and NYC GBL boxcars look promising as well (NKP in the group for those who were looking for it in the first release).

S-4's -- outstanding.

Have to ask Atlas a question --- why not S-6's - ?
(Just curious)

I'm guessing it's because the S4 just requires a truck swap. Wouldn't the S6 require a new hood?

As a guess, based on the Wikipedia page for the S-6, because SP was about the only major railroad to have them.  Looks like most were bought by steel mills and other small industrial organizations.  I can understand why you were interested with 70 units bought by SP though.

Based on these pictures, yes.

More TILX tanks to go with the ones I bought years ago from BLMA. Eventually I'll make a unit train.

Still no ATSF S2 or, now, an S4 in Zebra stripes...
Oh well, my wallet remains Atlas-proof.

Huh. UP omitted from the S-4 list. I just checked an all-time S-4 roster, and with 45 they were in the top five for quantity. Atlas probably skipped UP due to Bachmann's, which in all honesty is neither a bad model nor bad runner, but it would nice if I could get one in a different number. They duplicated Bachmann in doing SP tiger stripe, so where's the love, huh?  :(  ;)

Logic was probably that anyone that needed a UP one already bought the Bachmann model. But when it comes to SP there is a fairly healthy market of people that buy everything espee even overseas.
