Talk about dedication to the hobby.... I would have thought this to be impossible, but here it is

I gave up rivet counting when I couldn't see an N scale rivet anymore.

Unfortunately, they muffed the description in the spot for the PRR heavyweight observation car.

Quote
This 83’ 3-2 heavyweight observation car is tuscan with buff letting and runs on 4-wheel passenger trucks.  This  D78DD-class  diner  was  built  for  Pennsylvania  Railroad  in  1926,  and  rebuilt  in  the  early  1950s. It saw service until the late 1960s and housed a kitchen and dining area, all electrically powered by underframe-mounted diesel engines.

@Shipsure   I don't know if it's too late to fix this.

There’s nothing as important as the ability to continue providing employment and a paycheck to their employees to help those employees dealing with personal disaster.

With everything they have gone through I would be to embarrassed to point out an error like that in public.

It is a great news to see MTL getting back on track so soon.

I'm wondering if the way they run their business, they produce their releases a month ahead of the release date.  Maybe the October releases were already done and ready to be shipped out right as the fire happened?

Even though a bad thing happened they still have 100% of their factory. I'm sure a few people got some overtime from it all, but they got lucky.

Lots of pent up demand, or lots of speculation for the eBay after market.

Thrilled to see good news for Keith and the company and the workers. I would guess a lot of the work on October models was already complete. I noticed they have added the word target or estimate to some upcoming releases. Not a surprise.

I wonder if the air in the jewel case will smell smokey?

When were those released?  I don't see them under October releases on Hogtrainz site.

Hogtrainz was taking reservations for the TTX TBOX cars back in April and May of 2019.

IIRC, the first set shipped to dealers in late August 2020.

May already sold out- MT shows them as sold out at the factory.  They've been on the pre-order list for a while- the description on the website says "Pre-order window April 2019" with delivery middle of this month.

Second version is on pre-order now with a January due date - https://www.micro-trains.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=3263

Thanks!  So they still don't show up as "sold out" on Hogtrainz site and the "reserve" option appears to be available, yet the description states that reservations end May 31 (2019? 2020?).  :|  I'll try to "reserve" a set and see what happens.  Hogtranz site is not very well designed (and I'm being kind).
