I found the same article. That is the caboose Lee has found. I think it's a major built caboose but as to who originally owned it?

It's likely PRR  (an N5 maybe?), or less likely a B&M copy of a PRR N5.

I agree. Eyes are rolling back into my head, but after looking at a couple of hundred pix it does appear to be an ex-CR/ex-PRR N[something]. That center ladder/brace and rounded roof edge are the giveaways.

It's not a B&O. Can't really decide what it is. Round roof edges make it look like a Major Caboose (C&O) or N&W but the ladder in the middle of the porch throws things off.

Definitely not N&W.

You know, those annoying "I know better what you meant" automatic spell checkers can be disabled.  Then you can make your own spelling misteakes, like I do.   My browser's spell checker marks the badly spelled words, but it is up to me to correct them.

I agree with those who have proposed it was a PRR N5.  The rounded roof edge along the tops of the sides tells me that it's probably not a Magor caboose, and the beefy collision posts on the ends of the cabin scream Pennsy.

What?  You don't use Automated Error Enhancement?

Found it but now I'm even more puzzled...

This is the one I was referring to.  Wood bead board siding, four wood frame windows...  I know an N5 when I see one....

That one is not B&O, ladder is on the wrong side. The chase begins again.
