Contributed by several of us, there is a lot of very valuable information in the original thread that cannot be readily found on the internet.

For easy access and future reference, the additional aircraft fuselage rail transport material that is now accumulating in this MTL new release thread should be merged with the data from Mark's 2017 MTL model construction thread.

learmoia:  In that picture of the crashed plane you posted, is the front corner of the flatcar bent down?  It looks like it was in some type of accident, making it a fitting companion for the plane.

I know MT has had a very bad time, however I have not seen these "on the street"

Has anyone seen them available for purchase. I not not want to miss out.

My LHS just asked if I had any ordered with them.  I said yes I did, their reply was "ok good, they're sold out at factory.  I had to order from Walthers bc I had other people looking for them.  Should be shipping end of October."  So my guess in the next 7-10 days we might start seeing the earlier shipments on the street

Picked mine up from the local hobby shop today. Very nice cars! I'll need to keep an eye out so I can pick up another set. As a modern modeler, I need a whole bunch.
