Ha! Said like a true Eastern railfan!  :P

Of course we had off-line rolling stock roaming about, but if you look at period pictures, the further west you go the less there is of it. Which of course makes perfect sense in the context of regional business relationships that were the rule before the Harvard MBAs took over the world in the '70s and '80s.

I have plenty of foreign road stuff. Too much, though, so I need to concentrate new acquisitions on home road and region to balance the consists more representative of my modeling era.
