The Deadline for the NEW17 post NSC well car is August 5th so please let your preferred dealer know ASAP. Distributors (Heartland, and Hobbytyme) have been taking Dealer orders for a couple of weeks. We have to get our Production numbers in this week.

Update -  The blister packaging for the wellcars has been modified to encompass a large bubble on each end and blocking at the trucks to keep the unit from moving in rough handling. We will have more information on replacement end etched parts, and the blisters soon.

The 53' 6-42-6 UMAX  - NACS faded patch scheme with UMXU markings, that was transferred over to the UMAX program of UP & CSX.

Eleven 40' containers with all new schemes, and highly requested by modelers. This release compliments several of our previous 20' container releases and also covers schemes over several time periods. Each two pack of 40's in this release has a spare underframe included. These are optional replacements for some of the earlier JTC 40' containers. These have a micro-revision made to them to better fit on our 40' chassis. This was a micro revision made and very hard to recognize but we felt we needed to make it. All 40' models released after January 2020 have the new underframe. We will continue to include this additional underframe in several releases at no additional cost. These are shipping to direct dealers and national distributors this week.

Nothing for 1974, which is just as well, as I have too many already!

I would like some early 20 footers, though, as they were common as far back as the late 60s.  But there's no real hurry, at least at my end.

So has anyone had any luck getting any supplier to get on the preorder for the NS OAR containers?  I have tried three places now that have carried JTC stuff and none know about nor seem to want to look into it any further because the JTC site says sold out.  And JTC says the deadline is next friday.

I believe you can order direct from JTC, if you can't find a dealer.  I know they answer emails quickly, if you want to ask them.

Oh I think your quite clear on the website on why they are showing as sold out.  I guess no one really wants to take the time to actually read the description though, and that isn't your fault. 

Two dealers that I talked with had no idea of the item though since it wasn't listed in the August 2020 flyer but looks like a separate flier they apparently have not seen.  I even sent a direct link to your product page but their reply was that they are showing sold out.  I explained the glitch to them and your note on the webpage but neither have responded that they can get it (and that was a couple of days ago). The third one just said oh yeah fill out a request online and if we get any in we'll let you know but no guarantee.
