Finished up what will be a landscaping shop (former feed mill).  I replaced the kit's terrible chimney with N Scale Arch brick sheet, added rain gutters, and weathered the roof with an oil wash.

Been helping my son with his first kit build, the Walthers Pella Depot, and T-Trak module for it to reside on. We finished up the wooden tie grade crossing pieces tonight.

Also finally got around to putting color on the NYC Bay Window caboose I am building for a friend. Still waiting on decals. Ended up ordering them direct from Microscale. Didn't feel like waiting for Walthers to get them back in stock and Microscale had a few others in stock that I needed for another customer project at the same time. To those that complained about primer adding thickness and hiding the details....use the right primer. Nothing hidden here.

Very cool, but are they upside down?

Nope. Different railroads had different train order signal configurations. Most of the ones in New England (see Michigan Central, below) looked "upside down." That said, what it might be is mirrored: flipped left for right. I may rebuild it to correct this mistake--or not. It wasn't easy to make it work.

Whose kit is this?

This kit was produced by Allen Eck, but is no longer available.

Got another trailer knocked out this evening.  Amazon Prime ready for shipping, pulled by a Trainworx UPS Kenworth.

And a family shot of other companies I've finished.

Glad I don't model intermodal or I'd probably have to send Carlos a good portion of my part of the stimulus money.  Going to be hard enough finding enough dock space and highways to park all these trailers at.  Good thing I'll hopefully be starting over and can include more roads :D

If speaking of my post, the trailers are from DigCom Designs.  Printed on photo paper, you cut and fold them.  Landing gear and wheelsets from Shapeways

At some point one must give in to aesthetics.  It's c70 from Micro Engineering.  It's been around for awhile!

Plus the truss bridge is a new Atlas model with really good looking c80 bridge track on it.  Made sense to follow that lead.

The flex also allowed my to make the curve flow better and get better clearances thru the girder plate bridge.

Ah, thanks.  I'm not familiar with that style.  I'm guessing it wasn't popular west of Chicago.

I was just being facetious... and, of course, it's your prerogative to "bend the rules" here and there.

It was more important to be able to bend the track!  My old Wide Body Bachmann geeps were hanging up on the bridge plates!

@wm3798,

How fast is that train going?  Not because it's blurry from the apparent movement, but because that box car behind the flat car at the top right of the photo looks like it's up on four wheels!  Or, is that some of your world famous reverse superelevation curves.
