Looking to buy any extra Bowser H21 trucks - please let me know.  Looking for two pair.  These are Crown trucks with friction bearing journals and having 3 springs.  Atlas Hart Ballast car may also have similar trucks.  Thanks.

Thanks Lenny- Bowser is shut down for now and I was hoping to avoid their $9 shipping.

Bowser sells them as parts, $1 per truck without wheels, $7.95 with metal wheels or with couplers

One of these days I'll order some of the 100t trucks. I think PA is supposed to start opening up this Friday

Personally I don't care for the Bowser truck frames. For being injection molded they break easy and their wheels are too loose.

The PRR H21's actually used 2E-F2 trucks, which were 70 ton trucks.

I think the trucks under the Hart ballast cars are National C1. I used them on the NSK F30 flatcars.

$1 per truck is a good deal.  I missed that after seeing the $5.95 Crown trucks.  If anyone is ever in the neighborhood of Montoursville, PA, English's Model Railroad Supply is a great visit.  It doubles as Bowser World Headquarters, so there is a lot of history there.

also, I did not realize it, but Keystone Details has the Crown trucks on their Shapeways store:

@bbussey how did you manage to lower the F30?

I hate that Atlas never made those trucks available separately. But I suppose it doesn't matter since I will probably never finish my F30s anyways.
I'm from Johnstown. Flood's over. My flat cars don't need to wear flood pants.

And yeah, Bowser's flat rate shipping sucks. I think they just use FedEd and that's why.

If I remember correctly, I filed the bolsters as much as possible but it still isn't enough.  The coupler pocket really needs to be moved but that isn't an easy endeavor.
