I ran the RP-E4C shells on the printer yesterday. I'm pretty happy everything snapped together well the first time.

A very interesting project.
I'm looking for these road slugs QGRY is using.
Yours look very good!

Is this and her sisters (QGRY and HCRY) https://railpictures.net/photo/195463/ identical to one on the left but wihtout that box on the roof?

@bnsfdash8 These look great! What resin/settings are you using?

I have a yuuuge lake coming up that's going to be rush central, and in aid of that I've been experimenting around with Busch "Grain Field / Reed" (#7375) here and there. Unfortunately, my results have been just so-so and the stuff is kind of a pain to deal with. So, looking for something better/easier  :)

@spookshow look for Scale Link SNF032: reeds, rushes, cattails, lilypads, etc., in etched brass. Very finely detailed.

Try Neal's N Gauging Trains   His train show stops always seem to have an ample quantity of Scale Link products that you can purchase online.

Link removed.  Sorry for any violation of Railwire protocol

Nah, not interested in etched brass. But thanks.

I use Anycubic black mostly. These prints actually have a little bit of grey mixed in as I ran out of black and Amazon hadn't delivered my restock yet. These are my settings for black that I found work well for my machine.

So, I guess it's always Saturday on your layout? ;)

But seriously, awesome modeling as usual.

For MN cars shows that would be Sunday to Friday.  :)

Growing up there were two seasons; car and train.

Another option would be a classic car sales.  We have one in town, with half a dozen 50s/early 60s cars out front.  The last time I looked three of them were Edsels!

Thanks! And you'd be surprised how long it took me to google up a car show sign that was that generic. They tend to have dates and other annoyances on them  :x

I think you'd have to be certifiable to try to set up a classic car dealership in Hope, MN (population 100 and out in the middle of sweet bloody nowhere, lol).

Where did you find the red MGB?  My best friend has one that looks just like it and it would be a cool tribute to get one to put on my layout.

I don't remember where I got that, MBK maybe? Anyway, it's made by Oxford Diecast (UK).

It is a very simple sign. Why couldn't just create one on your computer using your favorote graphic app, or a word processor?

I wanted something from the real world. It's called "modeling"  :D
