Late to the thread as I've been laid up with suspected C-19, but I have been toying with some N scale stuff again on my 3d printer, and then having to mess with it to hand to fix errors in the printing.

Just look at that bell . Is that a modified old chord bell that now runs on air , or a new bell made to look like an old bell ? It kinda looks like a wrong scale bell either way .

Milwaukee’s fleet of SW1s was all over the board as far as modifications. Some stayed relatively unchanged other than paint and numbering while others saw mods such as different bell (steam era parts?), arched top windshield squared off, exhaust extensions or trash can spark arrestors, Y braced end railings similar to an ALCo S2, all weather windows and various MU capabilities as required.
Some of the engines were fitted with that super sized bell such as Tom’s proto photo.

The M&St.L used old steam engine bells on their RS-1s.  Could be something similar?

Most, if not all of the Northern Pacific’s extensive Geep fleet used recycled Steam Locomotive bells on the short hood.

The MILW liked big bells.  Even the Deer Lodge shop goat, powered with an extension cord, had a nice sized one on the roof.

A couple years ago there were a whole bunch of "single serving websites" that cropped up.

This was one of my favorites: http://www.didtheorioleswin.com/
And of course the far easier to code (because it always says yes): http://www.dotheyankeessuck.com/

And this one: http://hmpg.net/ "End of the Internet"

I reset the home page on one of our PCs at work to an earlier version of this, 10 or 15 years ago.  One of our other operators used that PC, had this come up, and panicked.  I was told not to do that again, as it was "too disruptive".

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how much data there actually is in the publically-accessible Internet?
