These are molded from slippery plastic - not easily glued (especially with such a small glued area). Oh well . ..

Bondic, works like a charm.

OK, again it depends on what you consider a good glue joint.

To me it is something that is almost invisible (no glue buildup) and very strong.  Bondic will not  do it for me.  Remember, the type of slippery plastic items I want to join are things like locomotive railings or airhorns. Very small items.  I don't want to have a glue bulge in the railing, or a blob around the airhorns.

Bondic does not adhere well enough (at least for me) to slippery plastic.  Bobdic does not adhere well enough to any smooth surface. After all it is not a glue.
Its website is https://notaglue.com/ after all.  :D  yes I know, it is a UV-cured resin which can be used as adhesive. I own and use it.

I really think you need to hook it up to an air compressor and share the video!

I've always used the Miniatures by Eric horns for WM carbody units.  They always gave the right appearance to me.

I think the reason WM used pairs of directional horns on their first gen units is that the air lines were all piped in for the standard single 'blat' horn- they just replaced them with five chimers.  Even the Geeps and the RS units had pairs of directional 5 chimers.

Mine:

I do not know what kind of five chimes these are, but, they are the only ones that I ever have seen.  I know that they are not correct for WM, but, lacking any other five chime, I used them.  Someone at a show, I forget where, years back had a bunch of them and I bought all of them.  I still have some, but, I do not know where they are, right now.  I am sure that I will find them, as I am digging through stuff that I no longer run and am selling it.  I have been amazed at what has turned up that I do not want to sell.

The shorter wings on the nose herald on #301 are no error.  According to Messrs. Stakem, the wings on #301's nose herald were shorter than those on the other three.  they did not state why this happened and no one else whom I have asked knows why, either.  Some WM "experts" were not aware of #301's shorter nose wings.  Some, in fact, were.

These are crummy telephone photographs.  The horns appear to have been knocked askew, but, I just noticed that.  I shall have to correct that when I go back upstairs.

Those are the cast metal horns.. I've had a few of them sift through my hands as well.  I liked them when they were all that were out there, but when I found the Atlas 2-piece plastic horns, I liked them a lot better.

I wonder if BLMA #224 or #225 horns would be good enough?

The 226's have all the horns facing forward, they just seem to be a little more scarce (also wider than what others are picturing).

Those look good, and help with placement on mine, too (once I have horns in hand). I'm guessing those are ones that turned up and you can't part with; they look great!
