Improved llight intensity on BLI P70's

Seeing the exploded parts diagram, I was thinking a piece of Kapton tape over the pickup wiper stud on each truck would do the trick...100% reversible.

Yes, that seems like easiest thing to do but I suspect the adhesive on the tape over such a small area will eventually let go, and then the tape might interfere with the truck's swing.  At least it is easy to do and reversible. Nothing to lose by trying.

Applying the tape over the flat strips in the floor would likely be a better idea, but not easily accomplished through the narrow slots in the floor.

I thought of that too. If removing the floor ends up being easy enough, I would put Kapton tape on the wipers. Yeah, it might wear off. Or, maybe I just remove the wipers altogether. Hmm... So many possibilities...so many ways to ruin an expensive model by being clumsy...

Kapton tape is pretty slick and without too much pressure from the nubs on the truck, it should  last a long time.  Removing the strips would work too, as long as you keep them in the car's jewel box to be reinstalled as needed. 

Back when these came out (its been few years) I bought one and took it apart to see if I can add anti-flicker circuit and to dim the lights. Another one of those many projects I have started but not came back to yet.    I don't recall taking the car apart as being too difficult, but as I mentioned, that was some time ago.
