Found a bunch of Colorado Railroad Museum shots my dad had from the 80's.

:)  Thanks for the photos!  I look forward to the Thursday Proto Photos.  Lenny's CP all red GE diesel photo is a study in classic elegance.  Somehow that simple diesel paint scheme looks really good on those sturdy locomotives.  Also, I enjoyed Jason's vintage Colorado steam switcher photos.

In between the usual BN/CP/UP sometimes strange eastern railroads run through town. Such as CSX power running light, southbound through Westminster, on December 7th:

A missed chance on January 4th, NS heading north. If I had been fifteen feet down the path I would have had the perfect shot. I had wandered from a good spot and was caught off guard  Great detail on the shrubbery tho. Next time!

This was deeper in that train and I couldn't help but think of our resident Seaboard modeler @davefoxx   :D

I shared this photo a couple of times on Facebook, but I'll share here too. This past Wednesday, I had two RS3ms MU'd on the MDDE. The railroad has had a cut of boxcars (at one point 75 cars long) that were being stored on our line loaded for a customer who was slow to get through them all (I'd hate to pay the demurrage!!!). We had already shifted through them to get the oldest ones to the customer. At this point though, we're cutting away from a cut of 12 cars, a spacer and 11 loads of LPG.
