Ok, I got two and so far the sizing has been in line with what I'm expecting.

I had sized that version for these:
https://www.avery.com/products/namebadges/74549

Since that's what every train show I've been to gives out.

However, it sounds like the demand is REALLY for a 4x3 version, so I'll definitely work that up.

Just went down to the train room (the basement) and found my 2019 Amherst/Winterfest badge.  It's 3" x 4".  Just another data point.

BTW, Ed, back in post #28, you mentioned "waiting for a file from Tom" to make the badges.  I was thinking you meant something like a clean image of the Railwire logo that heads the pages of this website, like MK, I and some other posters included in our own attempts (that we either could not post or could not make modifiable).  Apparently that is not your plan, at this point.  Or, is it?  Can you do that with the on-line generator?  What do others want?

Well, that's what I mentioned few times already too. But Ed prefers the smaller version. Maybe the template could print both sizes? That should be an easy thing to do.

That's what I'm shooting for. I've got it 80% of the way there but am now fighting with some of the styling.

Occasionally I have to work, you know.

A few observations on name tags.....
If people would use their name instead of made up monikers there would be no need for further identification.
Some of us would have to have a name tag with wheels on it to list all the places we have a presence.
Content on the name tag you are wearing should consider that not all people (and children) attending the event will appreciate questionable inside humor??? illustrated and discussed in this thread.

Oh yeah, that's right, sorry, been busy lately.

I need to update the sizes for this, right? 4x3.

Now mine prints as 2-3/4" wide by 2-3/32 high, based on the printed borders.

Because I am leaving for Springfield early tomorrow, I will probably just use my own creation if this doesn't get sorted out soon enough.
