Agree... interesting & fun exercise. Thanks again for your help. I think the Interstate Flour mill photo was taken from the big hill that now has a tower and a water tank on it. Using the 3D view on google earth from a similar angle does support the old concrete foundation behind the restaurant as the likely mill location.
I still don’t understand why the Library of Congress site doesn’t have the 1927 Sanborn map. It only has the 1914 map. It has more maps for nearby Clifton and Safford, but has none for Lordsburg NM. Strange.
