Atlas vs. Life-Like/Walthers 2-8-8-2

[hegstad1]

Sooooo, does anybody have the actual dimensions, i.e. wheel base, of the Atlas and Life-Like Mallets?  I think I remember the Atlas being a bit longer than the Life-Like.  Asking for a friend.  I should say, I have the Atlas.  I am more interested in the measurements of the Life-Like.

How would you like it measured, coupler to coupler, center of trailing truck wheel  to c/o pilot, or other?

From front driving axle to back driving axle if you could.  Thanks!

My eyes aren't what they used to be, and the "trucks" rocked around a bit while measuring; but if it helps, this is what I get...
3 and just under 7/32 actual inches.
a hair over 42' and 6"- N scale ruler.
81mm.
