Was there a “no weathering” rule in place?

Yes, I don't like people weathering my freight cars while I parked my train in the yard. Same rule for graffiti!

Was there a “no weathering” rule in place?

Thanks for sharing the video! The layout was very impressive, I spent as much time as possible checking it out (being an exhibitor makes it hard to break away from the booth!). Keep up the good work.

The first third of the video looked like it was a Z Bend Track setup?

Indeed, two different zbend clubs were there.

Railwire team,

At the reasonable request of a member, this thread is unlocked with the offending posts removed.  I must also apologize.  While some of you agreed with the heavy-handed manner in which I chose to "moderate" this thread, upon reflection it was rude, childish, and smacking of the very behaviors I sought to chide.  While we enjoy a significant leeway in the language and humor we may use at the Railwire, I chose to use crude and offensive language to berate members of the forum--for, ironically, berating one another.

My personal behavior was not up to the standard I expect of myself, nor that which you should expect of the Railwire as a whole.  I offer my sincerest apologies.  I'm as flawed as any man, and quick to anger when I perceive bullying of any sort.  But that's not an excuse.

I'm not ready to give up engaging in the occasional crude and immature humor for which the Crew Lounge is known around the globe ( :D), but I most certainly will redouble my efforts to moderate this board with the respect due the responsibility given me in that role.

Moving forward in this thread, I ask that we keep the discussion civil, that we don't bring outside comments (including those on the linked YouTube videos) in here, and that we remember that we're all in this for the love of model trains.

Thanks.  Now back to your regularly scheduled thread with special apologies to @delphiz302 for having to lock his thread.
