Reminds me of the parking lot they built in Altoona to store the brand new automobiles destroyed in a railroad accident on NS a few years ago.

Are there any job openings for the function of standing around on top of tunnel portal and watching wreck clean-up?

Those are the Safety Officers.

20 years ago I belonged to a radio club, and we had antenna on the roof of a local hospital, about 10 stories up. It was a restricted-access space, so there were no railings. We had a work session one Saturday involving guy ropes. One member insisted on handling ropes, and more than once he would walk backwards helping raise the mast, "Steve, watch it! Edge!" IOW, somebody's job became saving Steve from himself.

Steve's day job? OSHA inspector. Seriously.   :scared:

The tunnel re-opened to traffic on Tuesday July 9, about a week and a half after the July 28 derailment.

About 45 cars and a DPU locomotive were involved in the wreck inside the tunnel.
