Ah, I thought it was your video.  What your wrote above is completely spot on!

I'm an Associate VP for the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) for District 2 (all of NY and NJ).  The AMA has around 200,000 members across the nation pursuing the radio control anything that flies hobby.  I know 99% of the rules out there concerning drones (I fly mostly airplanes and helicopters) and often deal with FAA and US Secret Service officials and agents but often what's on paper is different than on the spot real life situations as you have mentioned above.  I was just wondering, through your experience, what that difference was.  And my guess is confirmed by your experience.

If you fly a drone here in the NYC Metro area like it was flown in the above video, you'll probably get a ride in a law enforcement vehicle to be questioned.  Again, situationsal, it's the location here.  Out in the middle of the midwest, probably no so much.

I'm happy to report the first batch is printed, cleaned, and cured!  If all goes to plan, they will be packaged and shipped to retailers (yes, plural! more on that later) at the end of next week!

So Mark, how many 3D printers you have running spitting out all those models?
I think that Out of the Box models might be for sale soon - wanna buy a model business?  :)

These things all came into service in the 90s, right?

Mostly, yes.  It seems the Water Buffalos entered service in the mid eighties, though the earlier versions were quite different  This version is likely early 90's through present, same with the M1101 trailers.

The goose neck trailer I have listed as Light Tactical Trailer (LTT), is not quite the exact name.  I guess LTT specifically can refer to any light tactical trailer, including the M1101.  In any case, the goose neck type  FHT (Fifth-wheel High-mobility Trailer)  is more recent, mid 2000s perhaps.  This weekend I'll get a picture of the loaded FHT print

The Conex boxes are modeled after the originals from late 60s.  Newer built Conex boxes are still in use today.

Also, I should announce, I'll be offering these trailers in 5 different packages, each including 5 trailers.

CGNS 020-A   N M1101 Trailers3 bare, 2 brackets, 2 covers (closed flap)
CGNS 020-B   N M149 Water Buffalo Trailers   5 Water Buffalos
CGNS 020-C   N CONEX Containers   2 Fine Rib, 3 Wide Rib CONEX boxes
CGNS 020-D   N FHT Trailers   3 Trailers with Shelter Box, 2 Bare Frames
CGNS 020-V   N Military Trailers Variety   1 Bare M1101, 1 Cover (open flap), 1 M1101 Ribs, 1 M149, 1 FHT (bare), 1 CONEX Box

MSRP for each pack is $24.00
