Hi Chris,

Those are good looking prints! Would you mind telling what kind of printer and material you use?

Kind regards, Dirk Blikkendaal

Anyone know what detail changes came from rebuilding? When was this completed?

The Biggest change for KCS externally was adding dynamic brakes.  The cab was pretty much left intact, and I think maybe the plow was redone since a lot of KCS track is not in snow territory.  Beyond that, bet I can tell, the rest of the work was internal. Can't speak to other purchasers.

Hi Daniel

If you want to build a KCS GP40-2L rebuild as sold to other railroads use SKU NK27 on the website.

This kit builds into an accurate model of CN GP40-2L wide cab units as rebuilt and sold to other railroads with modified lights, steps, and dynamic brake added. Etched parts are included for handrails and stanchions and enough to super detail the unit.

Kind regards,

Chris

I just ordered. The kit is under $100 shipped to the US, which is a hell of a deal considering how many parts involved.

Looks like a great product. The handrails look great.  Have you thought of offering them separately?

Hi Spades

I will have to check but we might be able to accommodate you with that one as we tend to order more of the etched parts than we have kit orders . How many sets are you looking for?

Shoot me an email or PM.

Kind regards,

Chris
