Alright Haters ;), the sign is as done as it's going to get. Actually there is an extension from the bottom of the sign to the building that I'll do but i'll gloss over that for now.  I've  also started a kitbash for the Double Front Chicken/Bar next store.

But, But, I had another idea (not a criticism)!

Was thinking if you took your outline drawing and added about 1mm to it and cut it from acetate in the cutter, you could sandblast or sand the 1mm protrusion around the wavy and halo, mount some flat LED to the back of that and mount the assembly behind the sign to have a true, lighted halo effect around the sign at night.  Ii think the light would travel to the edges and make the sanded extension glow.

That's a pretty cool idea...for another day!

I like it!
Of course I would have illuminated the sign, but that is why I don't won a train layout (I keep busy building illuminated signs and lots of other do-dads for friends, and commenting on TRW).  :D

Beautiful. I'm blown-away by how fast you constructed it too.

Amazing outcome, Andrew! The final structure is so unique, it screams Montana.

Mark W introduced this here several weeks ago.

In HO for now, but that doesn't mean you can't scan and reduce to N.
