Black Mesa and Lake Powell

And it will most likely be closed before the end of the year.  The power plant that it delivers coal to is set to be decommissioned. The Navajo Nation is trying to figure out how to keep the plant open even though the electricity  produced by coal is more expensive than what is supplied in the rest of the state. They expect 800 jobs lost when the plant, railroad and coal mine closes.
