Micro-Trains has trailers with operating rear doors, so maybe you could talk them into selling you some of the doors.

I have never done one of the open trailer designs yet, but check out DigCom Designs. They have graphics for card stock trailers and some are available for open doors. They have a design for the trailer interiors that might work well in a plastic model with open doors.

They do?  I've never seen those and thought I had just about every version MTL made at some point, but cool if they did.

I know they have/had a container with opening doors (I have one) but I don't recall ever seeing a trailer.

Maybe I was remembering the containers...  It's been years since I dug out my MT trailers, and I "remembered" them having the operating doors like the containers do.

Sorry to get your hopes up...

C-in-C trailers have a simulated roll-up door, you could model them in the up position.

I think these might be perfect for what Richie needs.

ISO containers are usually 8 feet high although there are highcubes that would match trailers 8 ft 6in height.   If high cube they are marked HIGH CUBE to help in stowage patterns on ships
