I've been using this formula from Rich Yourstone and it looks pretty damn good.

2:1 Rust:Grimy Black or 1:1 Tie Brown and Rust.

Ian does it matter if I use floquil or polly scale, or will either work as well as the other? I picked up floquil railroad tie brown the other day but is there that much difference between it and rail brown?

I don't think there is much of a difference between the two brands. However I only use acrylics when I paint.
