I've got a Bachmann 4-6-0 that's going to be made closer to #27. Might get a doodlebug too at some point. Maybe.

B-mann did issue the DCC doodlebug in Ma&Pa with a trailer coach.  I have one, but, since I run mine, it is not for sale or trade.

You could have an East Coast Nevada Northern.  At one point, it was trying to use its steam locomotives in revenue service.  Mix in the consolidateds and eight wheelers with the EMD yard goats for a revived Ma&Pa.........................

I'm on the lookout for one, but I know it's not 100% accurate. The doodlebug is actually lower down the list than getting my 4-6-0 going. I'm not that into the diesels. If I'm going to model diesels, I'm gonna stick with my first loves.

I finished-up this AMB Laser Kit this weekend. Still need to add rigging to the hoist, and some freight and people to the loading dock and inside the open doors, but it's otherwise complete.

Stunning! How would describe the building process of this AMB kit?

Here's my version of the same AMB structure Chris showed.
I painted the sign banner but haven't decided yet what to call it.

Finally finished something. C&O Bachmann 10 wheeler with Bachmann tender chassis, Model Power tender shell, Zimo no sound decoder, open cab roof vent, true scale front coupler, and led headlight. I have leveled up the tender after seeing this picture.

@nthusiast Thanks! It's pretty straightforward. The parts fit well, and I didn't have any unexpected issues. I usually stain all the wood parts with Minwax stain very first thing to seal them, which seems to help prevent warping. After that dries, I spray paint the parts and let dry. Last, I go over the parts with steel wool or lightly with fine sandpaper to distress the parts and give them a worn and weathered look before I ever begin assembly. After that, just assemble things according to the directions.

@johnb It's the AMB Laser Kit "A.C. Brown Manufacturing" kit. I recommend it - it's a nice kit and enjoyable to build.

That looks great, Bryan. I'm in the same boat - what to call it. Actually, I may call it "R.A. Steele Manufacturing" in memory of my late father-in-law, and following along with the "A.C. Brown Manufacturing" name of the kit.

I came up with some other building names night as well - "Broughton Forge" in memory of my Dad (his hobby was blacksmithing and knife making), and "Robison Machine & Tool" after one of my late best friends from high school. People I care about and have lost will be well-represented on my new Free-MoN module.
