The new Zephyr Express.  (Editorial: this sounds like step down from the Xtra name wise.  They should have come up with something "higher" like Xtra Plus or something.)

Nice to see Digitrax finally enter the 21st Century and use a color pixel-based display.  :)  The buttons seem a bit gimmicky, but I guess it is ok for a starter set.

It has a USB port.  So does that mean JMRI without a LocoBuffer or PR3/4?  Swell!  :)

Should I buy a Zephyr Extra DCS51 while it is still available?

I'd wait to see people selling their DCS51 after they upgrade.  People always need the newest tech :D

Edit:  I just saw posted in a FB sale group DCS51 and DT402 throttle, $200 shipped

Direct form the manual section 22.0

"Connecting the DCS52 to a Computer.  The DCS52 can be connected to a computer using the USB plug on the back.  It provides all the same functionality as a PR4 giving you access to Digitrax SoundLoader II and other computer utility programs. It can also be used as an interface for other compatible layout control software."
