MT will be doing very severe damage to my wallet next month. A Ferromex autorack, the CP containers, and the DODX set will have me eating Christmas dinner at the local soup kitchen.

As a matter of curiosity, since this month's budget was blown earlier today on a Rapido OB coach and a backlog of detail parts and painting supplies.... are either the PRR or GN wood boxcars (single sheath and double sheath, respectively) accurate or close?  Trying to backdate my freightcars a little - I need more built or rebuilt in the 20s and 30s, to make my 50s era yard-to-be look more like the photos I have.

Those Eco-Fab covers, I need those, but I don't need gons, or CP gons to be exact.

Wonder if MTL will sell them separately

They are accurate but they ride high. Atlas has released both schemes on their more-accurate models.

I can't catch up. The November weathered releases just showed on MBK website. Down to 9 CSX Railbox grafitti cars, so grab em while you can. HOgtrainz already sold out, and MT factory has sent these Elvises outta the building.

The DODX set looks like a winner too. My reserved copy from HOGtrainz showed up yesterday. Haven't had time to unbox it yet with parent conferences tonight at school. 7AM to 7PM work day. No break for dinner because I have basketball duty after school, so I am on the clock 12 hours straight, except the 20 minutes I get for lunch.
