Wow what neat stuff this weekend. Where will this hobby be in even a few more years with so many great innovations. Who would have thought you could print your own truck and trailers at home on the kitchen table, tracks for tanks and have lights as small as the new LED's etc all in 1:160 scale.

Yes it does! I also have an undecorated unit that I've toyed with painting into SP colors.

coldriver:  I think you've nailed the Columbia Plateau scenery.  Have you thought of writing a magazine article on it?

Russ, Jon, and others:  Good catch on the missing tires.  I thought they looked "odd", but couldn't really tell in the small picture.  My eyes are getting old...

worked on the bridge.
Glued the double track ties Rodney made ( printed ) for me. 
and then since it was looking pretty bare there just drying, I decided to give it the first layers of ground foam and then heck, tried my hand at coloring the water.  Not sure I will keep that color, was going for a brownish/ murky .  i'll have to check out some Youtube videos

Mighalpern:  If that trestle is in the Rockies, as it appeared in the prototype pictures in last weeks Weekend Update, I suspect that the water wouldn't be murky brown.  Unless they come from a glacier, most streams out there tend to be pretty clear.  If they are direct from a glacier, the greenish color is a little dark, but otherwise not too bad for "glacial milk".

Tennessee Pass is heading north. David Best accompanied by Eric Payne stopped by my place on Black Friday to retrieve the last section of my former Tennessee Pass layout. I kept it for ten or so years in my loft in the garage, but concluded I won't have time or space to do anything with it. So David offered to take it off my hands. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with.

That's pretty cool. I've heard the senior club members talk about this convention. I had moved to Evansville, IN after college in '86 and didn't get back to Columbus until '94.  Missed ya by that much. Finally joined the club around 12 years ago.
